A full house for our Keynote Debate "This house believes AI should replace traditional clinical teaching in med ed" with Dr Lorainne Tudor Car (proposition) and Dr Lois Haruna-Cooper (opposition)

In the end, the final poll remained strongly against but the proposition did triple their supporters.

The conference went off to a flying start with a fantastic keynote speech, “Building the plane as we fly it: educating doctors for the future of healthcare” by Prof Graham Easton.

This inspiring talk emphasised the importance of precision education and being human.

Good presentation on medical student wellbeing. Literature review of six areas of wellbeing for medical students
Spiritual wellbeing seen as personally meaningful BUT curricular silence in the literature
Mental wellbeing, valued but stigmatised

These are easily addressed though. @tasme.bsky.social
