It was amazing! I was the only white person amongst thousands of runners, everyone so friendly wanting to know my life story and to get a photo with me ( and my wife Deb)🤷‍♂️Surreal.It was a real bonus after the madness of an Indian wedding lasting all week! I was exhausted...6am start didn't help 😂

After 40 years together, this May, she doesn't believe my " what are the chances?" anymore.In a nice way.

We are back to Tas in 4 days, so no more treadmill for me 😂By chance, the Kolkata Marathon festival is on this sunday, under 1 km from our hotel. My wife is always suspicious when that " happens" 😂😂 I'll probably do the 5km, possibly the 10km. Has to be done, experience of a lifetime.

I am used to running on roads with zero traffic...occasional wallaby, echidna or snake though!
Treadmill is boring, it makes the runs feel twice as long.

That looks cold.. we are in India ( Kolkata) for a wedding ,but I daren't go for a run as the road traffic is chaotic and dangerous, the smog is bad and i think i might break an ankle on the pavements! I have had to resort to the hotel running machine and pool....not like Abel's Bay! 😂😂😂
