At school, when I went ringing with my teacher, we just used to refer to them all as SBB's - small brown birds. Even now, 50 years later, I've never ever managed to distinguish them.

The Ingres Museum in Montauban is truly wonderful and helps bring home his exceptional talent - his drawings especially were breathtaking.
