You maaayyy have better luck making or buying a peppermint syrup and heavy cream and mixing it into coffee every morning instead. I make my own simple syrups these days (2:1 sugar:water on the stovetop until melted and cooled then I add vanilla and other flavors if I want. Cinnamon or cardamom.)

Coffee creamers are hit or miss for sure. The Reese’s one is disgusting.

Grief is awful; I know you’ll get through it, but I’m sorry and wish you positive vibes and happiness.

Blender has a zillion tutorials like Ryan said, but I found it unbelievably overwhelming in the first three months. Even now I still feel like I fumble around. But if you have time or patience it is doable and free.
