Fyi the headline may be misleading; BLS will still publish the October industry employment estimates along with November data, but it won't be called the Employment Situation report because the household data for October couldn't be collected because of the shutdown.

I haven't read any in, uh, probably about 40 years. I was probably not a very critical reader at the time but would be interested to revisit, will have to see if the library can get them or something!

what an extraordinary dream and dream-object!! Just reading your description of it is moving in itself. I feel like I've had dreams that felt that significant maybe a couple times in my life, but it's rare to say the least. 💜
