He always lied and overembellished, he said and documented exactly what his plan was (Project 2025) it is hardly his fault no one believed he would do what was documented. I have to blame the people (all the media) who did not believe it or thought it would not be as extreme as it is.

Based on folk voting for Brexit, I guess it is the same attitude i.e. things for me and my friends and family have only got worse, how bad can it get? It is faulty logic to some level but I can not blame people for thinking along these lines.
