Terry has been taking his lunch to work in the last plastic bag we have in this house. He needs a new lunch bag. He probably didn't need one this fancy, but I always gotta be extra. 🤩 I made this one out of Zelda fabric with a heat insul layer, and a water resistant lining for spill protection. 😁

I haven't painted on a canvas board in years. Ooof. I guess it turned out ok though. A little Easter bunny stopping in the moss to smell the flowers.

I've been working on cutting and hemming a selection of cloth napkins this afternoon. I'll be stitching pretty designs on them as I get to them. But for now we have some to use. Made out of linens that I had in my fabric stash. 😍

There's a monster on my bed! Hah! I must have stitched this when the kids were small and then did nothing with it. I found it in my fabric stash this morning.

Logan showed me the sad hamster meme and asked if I could make him his very own sad hamster. Of course I can!

It's almost the time of year when we can peel the plastic off the windows and open them up! Spring! I crocheted this pretty pineapple and weighted it with some rolls of old pennies I found in the basement. It'll help keep the bedroom door from slamming with a gust of wind.

I just finished crocheting this new sweater. I made it extra long, off shoulder and oversized so I can wear it like a hoodie. 😀 It's warming up in Winnipeg out of spite because I want to wear my new super warm sweater. So.. you're welcome! 🤗

Sewing project this week: a new lunch kit for Lane. The original one I made when she was 7 is too large for her high school back pack, so she's been using mine. Not really her style so I'm glad I finally got around to making one with Star Wars fabric. Now she can carry her Bento in style.

Today feels like a "bake a whole pan of brownies with chocolate frosting and then eat a whole pan of brownies with chocolate frosting" kind of day.

Todays sewing project: restuffed Marcie's worn out dog bed. The last photo is the "before". I remade the inner lining using an old sheet and then cut up an old mattress cover to stuff it. 😁 I love that I was able to reconstruct it by recycling materials I had on hand instead of buying new.

My favorite leggings wore out at the waistband and butt, but I really liked the fun pattern. So I cut the perfectly good legs out of them and made them into sleeves for a winter themed t-shirt that I love that really should have had long sleeves in the first place. 😃 Took me about 15 minutes.

Well I've got it to a point where I like it enough to leave it. Sometimes I just get caught up in a painting too much and can't really see it anymore. I'll come back next week and see if there are some touch ups I want to do.

We had this old bamboo mat under Marcie's dishes. We were constantly breaking it by tripping on it. So I made a new mat today that fits better. I used some of the quilt blocks I made years ago (like almost a decade ago!) It feels good to use up long left behind projects in a new and useful way. 😊
