Distracted driving is the cause of more accidents and deaths, it's a fact. I'm not saying high speeds don't kill, I'm just saying what's worse and what everyone seems to be ignoring. Half the speeding done is due to distracted driving so that would benefit both ways. I've been to enough to know.

I don't fall for anything, I want fiscal responsibility throughout. When times are good, spend a little more on pet projects but these days, priorities matter.

It's a complete waste of money and unnecessary. But who cares about money right? Every city has tons of it, SMH. And no, the far left stuff is as annoying as the far right stuff, just not as violent.

Worst fans going (I'm one) except for maybe the Oilers. Marner was the glue obviously, Mathews looks unhappy because they keep getting rid of his buddies so he'll be gone at end of contract. Tavares is a rock, the best player they have by far. Could've built around him instead of Mathews but too old

Yup, great idea, then move onto the cereal eaters, makeup artists, parenting from the front seat, dogs on laps etc. People are just so selfish these days that a million speed cameras, speed bumps etc. there will still be idiots hitting others. Everyday I see half of the drivers on their phones.

You don't think people are getting fed up with the far left stuff? They are. I have several friends who are liberals and can't stand all the cancelling. Doug Ford plays right into that. The Kitchener Berlin thing is irrelevant.

You're probably right. My point is mainly that distracted driving is the reason so many accidents are happening these days. Traffic is slower, more speed bumps, less lanes, wider sidewalks, etc. Yet the numbers keep going up. What's next? shut down all the roads?

I'm pretty left of centre and after reading what Dundas did in his time, it is crazy they're getting rid of his name everywhere. Oh well, another reason the right wingers will win the next provincial election again. SMH. Shooting ourselves in the foot daily.

More police to actually get all these distracted drivers off the roads. You don't hit a guy in a crosswalk because you're speeding, you hit him because you aren't paying attention.

I wouldn't have said that, but I would have said, "Another terrible tragedy but I'm not sure what speed cameras would have done to save them?" I'm not sure about the latest one, I haven't read about it yet, but the other two were not speed related. (most are distracted driving).

So I have to be poor to be progressive? Wow, you are something special. I can’t stand the far right and I’m almost equally against the far left. But I will always stand with the average working fool and demand more from the self proclaimed progressives as they tend to be quite clueless to reality.

Conservatives also as a rule, dismiss or even attack common sense, much like what you do so... Maybe think a little about the majority of people that want a logical society rather than a dictatorship of the over progressive.

First off, you're wrong. I never blamed the car, I said, wait for the facts. Second, being a millionaire these days isn't that special since a lot of basic houses are worth that. The slippery slope is attacking those with modest millions compared with 100's or even billions. So yes, very slippery.
