Meh… here’s to BS
11th fill of 2026 - “Chain Reactions”. There’s some cool interviews & production quality , however it’s not the most essential documentary around.

10th film of 2026 - “Prince of Broadway.” Not too shabby, it’s not terribly impressive but it has strong merits.

9th film of 2025 - “The Breakfast Club” was due for a revisit, & Criterion’s 4K disc was the way to do it!
January 9, 2026 at 12:50 AM
8th film of 2025 - “Red Planet”. Was a joy to rewatch this underrated sci-fi thriller on 4KUHD!
January 7, 2026 at 11:46 PM
7th film of 2025 - “Lost in Space.” I have such a nostalgic connection to this film, & watched it REGULARLY on VHS. I now have it on 4KUHD & have zero regrets about it!

Still WAITING on Blade 2 4KUHD @realgdt.bsky.social (any updates)
January 6, 2026 at 1:50 PM
6th film of 2026 - “Frazetta: Painting With Fire.” Decent early 2000s documentary that could use a new coat of paint.
January 6, 2026 at 1:13 AM
5th film of 2025 - “Mike Mignola: Drawing Monsters.” Great documentary, glad to have finally watched it.
January 5, 2026 at 6:56 PM
4th film of 2025 - “Film Worker.” Finally crossed this pretty, pretty good documentary off the watchlist!
January 4, 2026 at 9:44 PM
3rd film of 2025 - “The Smashing Machine”. It’s impressive as hell! 1/2 of the Safdie bros can still put out great cinema!
January 2, 2026 at 2:34 AM
2nd film of 2026 - “Deep Blue Sea”. It was awesome watching one of my favourite “guilty pleasure movies” on 4KUHD with an impressive Atmos sound mix from @arrowvideo.bsky.social

1st film of 2026 - “The Long Walk”: It is really good, & has a couple of fantastic lead performances!

318th film of 2025: What a must watch documentary… it could have been titled: “Trainwreck: Corey & the Angels.” I am curious to see what didn’t make the cut.

317th film of 2025: EXCELLENT 4K disc from Arrow!
December 29, 2025 at 11:29 PM
316th film of 2025: The most plainly OK movie of it’s kind I have seen in awhile 😐😐
December 29, 2025 at 7:54 PM
315th film of 2025: It was a JOY to revisit the 3rd best of the franchise on the best format!
December 29, 2025 at 1:26 AM
I would HOPE Arrow intends on releasing the TMNT trilogy in separate releases!
December 28, 2025 at 11:55 PM
314th film of 2025: Other than a wildly enjoyable opening, it’s still the almost hilariously awful black sheep of the franchise.
December 28, 2025 at 11:17 PM
313th film of 2025: Sure, this is when Kruger’s one liners started to get to be a bit too much, BUT I always enjoyed this one, & being able to finally see the uncut version in great quality was nice!
December 27, 2025 at 7:00 PM
312th film of 2025: Nobody does it like Tarkovsky… WOW
December 26, 2025 at 10:26 PM
311th film of 2025: My 1st viewing (finally), & it was fine. Some wonderful visuals, but not one of Kurosawa’s best. For me at least.
December 26, 2025 at 12:32 AM
310th film of 2025: It is a bit better than I remember, still a disappointing follow up to Dream Warriors though. WBs new disc is just… fine.
December 25, 2025 at 3:32 PM
309th film of 2025: Fantastic cast in a weird Scorsese lite bore… stink. Stank. Stunk!
December 25, 2025 at 1:46 PM
308th film of 2025: The ONLY version of Scott’s wildly enjoyable epic! It was nice to rewatch it!
