This morning was treat as I was leaving our local park. No herons in usual spot & just as I was getting in car not one but two showed up. I’m thinking it was dating thing. It was 10 degrees with wind so as I was scurrying back to car they both took off together! What a video that would have been.

Not as many pet portraits this year. Love doing ones when their mouths are closed as much easier to get a likeness. This patron has had about six portraits done in total I think. A poignant story in the alt section. #dogportraits #giftideas Her family rescues pit bulls.

And in “land of the free & the home of the brave….” I think our flag is broken & our bell no longer rings…”. My Dad had to watch his buddies get shot by Germans as they parachuted down over Belgium when Hitler shot their plane down. The Resistance saved him. Who on earth is to save us from this?

Sold times five today! #artistatwork. Amazing what happens some days. Have one patron who is a true gem in our Diamond state. And another who loves horseshoe crabs as much as I do! So fun this time of year especially as so many are buying art as gifts!

Aw…this was up in Harpswell Maine in 2012. The boat rose and sank everyday up and down with each tide. It did not have enough integrity to stay afloat more than an hour or two but would rise again on next high tide. Very metaphorical Plein air experience.

(3) #books are everywhere In my house. I love this book stack the best as it’s two sided, almost floor to ceiling and has two end caps as well. Holds a ton of stuff. #readingisfundamental

I’m shocked. Nothing came up for #DelawareArtScene. The #firststate is the #RodneyDangerfield of all states. We just get no respect. lol. My gallery is on most historic site in the country as it is where they ratified the US constitution and #Delaware jumped first at the chance to be Kingless! #art

I do like this little painting. Doesn’t look sleety enough but it has a nice enough blurry feel to actually feel dreary. #artistatwork #DelawareArtScene is kind of like the epitaph that didn’t get put on #Warhol headstone. #artmatters
