#japanthings I talked with my tutor yesterday about how "maybe" in Japanese vs english is different. usually it means 50/50 do or don't but in Japanese it means no. English also uses tone for nuances, so I had trouble with this at first! Did y'all ever have these cultural differences?#cultureshock
