When I finish Latch3, I'll be getting the series published in the same way I did for my short stories. Then I'll get to my other unfinished works and a few new ones.

This series, and the rest of my stories, have such a different meaning to me now. While still entirely fictional, they contain all the love and appreciation I have for Liam and for the rest of the group.
It's cathartic, painful, and joyous to write them into kinder worlds.

I could never have predicted what the year since its publication has held, for me, my family, this community, and the world.

I'm still hard at work writing book 3, with only a few chapters left before it's ready.

We have to stop saying "this isn't who we are" or that "this has never happened before."

We didn't steal these horrifying acts from anyone else. We've been doing this since before we were a country. There's a reason you didn't learn about it in school, but we all have the chance to change that.
