I usually grab a ham sandwich on white bread with chips. To make it more nutrient-dense, I switched to whole-grain bread, added spinach and tomato, and swapped the chips for a side of fruit. Now it has more fiber, vitamins, and natural sweetness

My 24-hour recall was fairly accurate, though I may have missed small condiments. It was easy to remember the main meals but harder with snacks. Writing it out made me notice how many chips I ate compared to fruits/veggies. Seeing it written I saw I rely more on quick, processed foods than I thought

I'm a second year Pre PA student, and i'm taking this class because im living on my own it's important to know what makes a healthy meal and so thats what I want to find out from this class. One word that I would associate with healthy eating is "organic". (and tacos are my favorite)
