The first @phish.com songs I listened to were Mikes > Hydro > Weekapaug from the 2017 NYE run.

My first #Phish show and they open with a 3 song jam of Mikes > Final Hurrah > Weekapaug is a dream come true. #YEMSG

I have waited almost 15 years to see Prawn.

They are more brilliant live than I ever could have imagined.

I love live music so much.

I just finished reading Cory Doctorow’s Enshittification and without question, it is one if the most impactful reads I’ve had in a long time.

I have hope that his analysis will usher in a new era of the internet.

I miss Envy on the Coast.

I am now listening to Polar Bear Club and damn, another band that didn't get their due.

What I'd give to have them back.

Listening to a Fireworks live set from 2011 and thinking about how I'm going to see them play Gospel in full in May.

Truly one of the greatest and criminally underrated bands of my generation.

Tonight I will see The Academy Is… for the first time. A band that has meant the world to me for over half of my life.

I tried to see them at Warped Tour when I was 14 and fainted just as they started.

This is for 14 year old me, 31 year old me, and the person I grow to be every day.

I watch a lot of @jeopardyofficial.bsky.social and have a ritual of guessing the final Jeopardy clue the moment the category is read before the commercial break.

For the 2nd time ever, I got it right tonight.

It’s the small things in life that bring the most joy.

It’s 2016 - It’s Election Day, I’m sitting at my desk job downtown, listening to Put Your Ghost to Rest by Kevin Devine.

Some things are weird.

I watched Over The Garden Wall and only had a lot of complex emotions about it this time.

I’ve only met one bagpipe feature that didn’t grate my spine and that’s the feature at the end of The Battle of Hampton Roads by Titus Andronicus.

Merry first listen of Peripheral Vision by Turnover of the Fall to all who celebrate.

Walking home from the train this evening had the perfect crisp in the air for it to be the ideal album to spin before bed.

Dear New York… has to be one of the most stunning exhibits I’ve ever been to.

Remain in Light by Talking Heads is the vibe in NYC today.

The No Closer to Heaven remix & remaster by The Wonder Years sounds like an entirely different album in the best of ways.

Truly brought out the best of what those songs have and will for sure being playing on repeat for a long time.

There's nothing quite like listening to Into It. Over It. on a cool rainy fall day.

I was lucky enough to meet Jane briefly a few years back.

In the less than 2 minutes I got to spend with her, I was immediately struck by her passion, brilliance, and thoughtfulness.
Jane Goodall, ethologist and conservationist, has died. She was 91

Listening to The Front Bottoms S/T while there’s the slightest hint of autumn in the air is a time capsule back to 2012.

Feeling under the weather calls for laying on the couch with The Black Parade is Dead! playing in the background while drifting in & out of napping.

Watching @jeopardyofficial.bsky.social and deeply understand Paolo’s sheer panic at answering questions and being amazed when being correct.

I hope he goes on a long run.

I am yet again listening to The Black Parade.

Jerry is a poster of all time. Not the greatest, not the worst, just a poster.

(For real, this is hilarious)
bluesky is dying and there's only one way to save it: by putting on a community theater production of The Black Parade
