I wonder if the campsite will still be used now that the hotel exists

I’m a little concerned about the Hotel thing introduced in ver 3.0 feels a bit redundant to Happy Home Paradise

An “F” for funky (not the good kind of funky)

I missed the news it released recently doesn't change the fact it came out this year when it's been in beta since 2020 (with early testing in 2019)
October 24, 2025 at 7:50 PM
and I know it's supposed to be leaving beta soon but Xbox Cloud gaming shoud have already been a standalone product at least two years ago and feels like it leaving beta now is a “glad I happened but you're really late”
October 24, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Because paying all that money a month just for cloud gaming that's still considered a beta is a little ridiculous especially when GeForce Now is a viable optionneith just as many ways to play from a devices perspective
October 24, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Which wouldn't be a problem if not for the fact that XGP Ultimate is only really worth it if you own at least two different devices (e.g. Xbox Series X and a Meta Quest 3 or a smart TV and a PC, etc) to fully feel like you're getting your moneys worth
October 24, 2025 at 7:31 PM
And regarding Cloud Gaming, I just find it a bit alarming that this service has been in beta for five (technically six if we consider the early testing phase) years and still is considered a “beta” locked onto the most expensive tier of XGP

I concur with that and they need to work on making Windows more friendly of an OS on hand-held gaming PCs they never had to worry about this issue in the past but with this submarket of PC gaming hardware taking off the blemish is very noticeable
October 24, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Or if we factor they consider a third option (online services) between the two Xbox has a better product between Xbox and PS.
October 24, 2025 at 7:20 PM
Makes me wonder. If first party games were obsolete even for just Xbox and PS what would consumers use as a deciding factor? Brand recognition or hardware I feel if we discuss the everyday consumer and someone that isn't tech savvy its likely the former

🔥
October 24, 2025 at 7:12 PM
The last part I only mention in the sense that Microsoft still hasn't clarified which of its games get multiplatform release and just the precedent thag first party exclusives are a way to incentivize people to buy your hardware over a competitor.

That's the beauty of sharing opinions online! I think if we separate them those are fair assessments. I think need to really sit down and write my thoughts down but everything Xbox has done this year has somewhat underwhelmed me (minus Doom Dark Ages great game, but also a 1st party game on PS5)

Same reaction I make when a server asks “is Pepsi ok?” when I try to order a Coca-Cola
