Luisa was the daughter of Taylor librarian Heinrich Krebs, and so was born and grew up in the Taylorian in the early 20th century. In this work, she reveals what her life and the library was like at the time.

He is wearing a long suit jacket and tie, and holds a book open on his lap. On the right of the picture is Luisa Krebs as a young teenager. She is white, with a short brown bob. She is wearing a long jacket and skirt, and has a bonnet on her head. Her arm is around her fathers back.
