I think the violent hate that women receive is a lot worse than the hate that men get. Men are simply not receiving rape threats online

Before reading this article I wanted to write how I felt about the title. This is very interesting to me because women are often shamed on the internet for many different things as new beauty trend and insucuries are made up. For example American girl doll teeth.

Finally I think the best way to change a society is to connect on common morals this is really the only way change is made. For example every country fro the most part in some way has decided that murder is bad and had tried to decrease it in some way.

I think people can also come together to make change because of fear. This is what I imagine will happen when global warming get bad we will all have to set aside out differences to save the planet. (3)

A lot of times when people come together because of a common goal that goal is often to be against some sort of common enemy or person or group they are against. This could be people rising up against an oppressor or a genocide. (2)

I think we can change societies in a number of ways. The first way would be for people to come together and realize that we all have a common goal and that we could work together. (1)

I found the women’s work reading very interesting because many people see to think that women only raised children cooked and cleans until the women rights movements. This is interesting because it implies that is is just as natural for a women to work is a man?

Wow I didn’t know it was possible to make someone work for a 24 hour shift. I think this never would have happened in the majority of home health workers were men. Just like raising children men see these kinds of jobs a natural for women so they don’t think of it as exploitation.

Its interesting to me that more women are loosing their jobs than men because of covid because when I think about important jobs that require a lot of people I think teacher nurse and things that require more women than men. Even food and retail with power our economy rely on women.

Women are also socialized to choose helper positions while men are socialized to do things that make more money (2)

I think that just because marriage is better dosent nessacarially mean is good or better for women than not being married to men. A lot of things have to change before being married to men is an overall positive thing for women.

I think that if men compensating their wives for housework was the norm in America then maybe people of all genders would realize how much work women in traditional gender roles truly do.

I don’t actually believe women are wanted men less like there is some sort of rise in lesbianism. I think some women are simply exhausted of doing all the work at home and at work. Gender roles do not benefit anyone and all parties would be happier without them.

I think it’s really funny that straight people often wonder who is the guy or girl in queer relationships. It is almost like they are so conditioned within gender roles that they believe that a relationship could not function without them.

I think men may me more likely to leave their wives when they are sick because they see women as a specific thing and less of who they actually are. For example when they cannot cook and clean and portray the image of woman men find them less useful.

In my opinion with the whole hook up culture vs celibacy thing has an aspect of rebellion. I feel like back in the day there was a stigma about having sex so people rebelled with hook up culture but now I feel like they are rebelling against hook up culture with celibacy.

I think objectifing men is also bad becuse men are seen as these hyper sexually aggressive people and if they are so sexualized they may think that is all they are and never want to change

I feel like the woman not owning her own picture can be representative of a lot of things. Often times women’s bodies are not looked at as their own especially with rape culture and even with pro life people.

I think a lot of times women who are heavily sexualized especially at an early age learn that their only value is their sex appeal. Because of this they objectively themselves more and they devalue themselves if they do not think they are sexy.

The idea that zoom leading to more facia procedures is crazy to me. I wonder if this is more because the face now matters more than the body because it is all that is being seen or of it is because people are constantly seeing themselves and their perceived flaws.
