Fast forward to the present and tumblr is filled with antisemitism pushed by moderators, queer folks being silenced and the most obnoxious theatre band kid adults you’ll ever meet

Wasn’t until a year or so later after the tumblr exitus that people began to crawl back and tumblr moderation began to crack the fuck up cuz of Twitter being icky now

What I can tell from ppl who have been on tumblr for a while is as that it was basically a golden age when the first porn ban hit since it meant a lot lot lot of unsavory folks left for different platforms so it let more niche folks thrive
