I'm 100% for not changing the clocks during year, and just keeping at one time, but I am a firm DST year round. Standard time year round... Sunrise as 4:45 AM and sunset at 7:05 PM in the summer? Good god, no!

Moving to Long Beach after living in Midwest is great, for so many reasons. One is now when watching tv/movies I can now go, "Hey, that's the hotel next to the Queen Mary," or "Hey, that's the beach I go to read quietly and ignore the world!"
