To align all the content together, but you want whomever making the comment to feel as though their comment is most important so it should lead with the other comments following, just my opinion though.

I like the changes. I do want to point out a small detail. As a UX/UI designer that specializes in accessibility, you should align the content bar all the way to the left. Most people read left to right. The current design is shifting viewpoint to the right. I get why it is where it is.
