Let me know how living next to that tire plant or chemical waste recycling facility works out for you. Zoning isn't inherently evil. Zoning applied in racist ways is, but there are good reasons to have zoning regulations.

Stayed in an Airbnb once. Tennis courts were nearby. A few squeaks. Stayed in the same complex later after pickleball came on the scene and the courts had been converted. It was non-stop. We got used to it, but I totally get why it's a zoning issue.
