I heard it’s doing the greatest ever. In fact I heard we’ve entered a new golden age of America.

No, it was a good move because he was guilty and should have been removed from office. TWICE.

It’s a waste of time because it’s clear that the GOP will never hold him responsible.

Him not having the authority hasn’t stopped him in the past.
February 12, 2026 at 3:17 AM
Wait, didn’t Congress get the memo? The President is the only one who can set tariffs.
February 12, 2026 at 1:43 AM
Sorry, I think we’re actually in agreement. I misunderstood what you were suggesting they could do. Been seeing a lot of posts about impeachments and passing laws. 100% they should be grinding the gears to a standstill.
February 12, 2026 at 12:00 AM
I’m saying their chance has passed and there isn’t anything they CAN do at this point. If they get back in power, we’ll see if they learned any lessons.
February 11, 2026 at 10:30 PM
What could they do? The republicans put every monkey wrench in the way when the Democrats were in power because democrats let them. The GOP isn’t willing to let the democrats slow them down. The democrats are at fault there, but I’m not sure what they could do to fix it right now.

Delusional at a minimum. I assume for every batshit crazy thing we hear, there are dozens of them that his team manages to prevent him from saying out loud.

Democrats can’t do shit about him while the GOP controls everything.
February 11, 2026 at 1:04 AM
Had to check see it this was somehow a post from 2020.
February 11, 2026 at 1:02 AM
I think that would be a mistake in the long term, but I also think it doesn’t matter in the current environment. Congress wouldn’t pass anything Trump doesn’t approve of.
February 10, 2026 at 6:16 PM
lol. By far the best analogy for Schumer that I’ve seen.
February 10, 2026 at 3:25 PM
Yeah, and if Donald Trump resigned we wouldn’t need to impeach him. All sorts of wonderful dream scenarios out there.
February 10, 2026 at 4:18 AM
Yep, as an elder millennial, it boggles my mind how prevalent it’s all become.
February 10, 2026 at 4:12 AM
Impeachment is a fantasy, at least until the midterms, and even then it seems unlikely.

been in the mood for some odd stuff. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

Yeah, a 2 week extension to avoid a shutdown is one thing. There is literally NO reason for a further extension.

Can’t do good public transit in America under capitalism. It just fails financially before anyone learns to use it.

Is it actually “Fun and entertaining”? Or is it more on the informative and slightly depressing side of things?
