Mark Russell, Chief Executive at The Children’s Society, spoke seriously about the challenge of improving young people’s lives amid declining wellbeing. Matt Hyde OBE, Chief Executive at Lloyds Bank Foundation, shared his vision for a caring, connected society.

4.5 million young people across the UK are in poverty.

This will only increase if the two-child limit is not removed.

We believe that young people’s wellbeing is not up for debate. By scrapping the policy, more children can access essentials they need for a happy childhood.

Natasha Irons, Labour MP for Croydon East, spoke passionately about ensuring youth support is seen as an essential service to improve the mental health of all.

Our event explored how Government and civil society can partner to improve children’s wellbeing. A brilliant panel shared their thoughtful insights, including Joanne McCartney, Deputy Mayor for Children and Families, who spoke passionately about ensuring children's voices are heard by those power.
