Not many food pics yesterday- it was chaos. But here’s some post Tday breakfast hash, using leftovers. And by the way, turkey confit finished on the grill is winner winner, turkey dinner. 😉🍽️
Leftover Tday hash with two crispy fried eggs on top. Hash has taters, beets (red and golden) celeriac, shallots, red pepper and garlic. Of course there’s some Smokey breast met and confit thighs included, and liberally doused with turkey gravy to bring it all together. Hash cooking on the stovetop Turkey legs/thighs/wings on a cookie sheet with fat sitting in the grill. Wings falling apart, skin getting crispy on the legs and thighs. Beet/goat cheese salad, includes red/golden beets as well as celeriac- sous vide cooked. On top of balsamic dressed arugula and red onions, with toasted pecans topping the dish.

Dutch oven full of duck fat and canola oil and turkey; wings, legs, thighs. Little bit of a wing protruding above the oil. Head of garlic and loads of thyme sprigs and some rosemary included.

WFH - lunch break was time enough to get some turkey confit going… herbs and garlic added to the oil. Fingers crossed. 🤞 🍽️

Colors were fun in making Tuscan chicken- last of homegrown tomatoes used. 🍽️
Chicken breast added back to pan after sauce made. Spinach added to pan with cherry tomatoes Cherry tomatoes, garlic used with some white wine and butter to deglaze pan after cooking chicken.
