OK, I have a plan.
Things you need:
1. Invasive population of lantern flies.
2. About a dozen people split into two teams.
3. An equal number of electrified tennis rackets, preferably with counters.
We then have teams compete to see who can eliminate the most flies per game.
Useful. Fun.
