Oh, and Gun & Slinger has a gmless mode! (Although RAW be aware that the gmless drawing mechanic very much makes it play-to-lose; you may want to tweak it if you're looking for a less lethal game.) forktwenty.itch.io/gun-and-slin...

Two I have on my to-play list are Death Cap Saute (post-apocalyptic cooking competition) and I Have the High Ground (melodramatic pre-dual posturing).

Some systems are more explicit about who has narrative control when, of course, which can help with this... but especially if you're at a table with a culture of musing aloud you can still end up with multiple options and need to clarify which one is True Going Forward.

Especially when a lot of options were thrown out and discussed you can end up with a superposition of possible events that can lead to confusion down the line.

(Plus it helps with pacing & makes it clear that you're moving on.)

Flamecraft is so good! Flamecraft Duals is also an excellent two-player game (very different mechanics but works extremely well)

In addition to other folks' suggestions:

- I'm Sorry Did You Say Streetmagic (for a city setting specifically)
- I don't know what I'd use them in a different system but I do really like the Ironsworn/Starforged/Sundered Isles setting truths

Fight for the Future has a nice recent round up: touchgrass.fightforthefuture.org/how-to-ditch...

I personally need nested folder for organizing playlists & have been struggling to find something that offers those. (Sounds like it might be in the works for Tidal 🤞)
How To Ditch Spotify and Support Music in the Age of AI Slop

Coming together for group storytelling with each participant having mechanically limited narrative control. (I personally don't often play solo games for that reason; if I'm storytelling by myself I prefer just to write.)

Combat can be a story, a mystery can be a story, but the story is the point.

Ruth Goodman is such a treasure 🤩 All her work is fantastic but I think about The Domestic Revolution in particular probably at least once a week
