BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.

I am left wondering why #curb through #taxitv is showing NewsMax in the New York taxis. Seems so divisive to me.

Have to (regrettably) agree. We in the US need to do better and expect better from our politicians.
Proud to live in a country that believes in democracy and that the rule of law applies equally to all. Our politicians may not be perfect but they are a damn site better than many of them south of the border. #HappyCanadaDay 🇨🇦🦫🇨🇦

Meaningful work that impacts and aids children.
In the legislature, Rep. Conlin and I helped pass universal free breakfast and lunch for all public school students and opened up free pre-K for every 4-year old through the Great Start Readiness Program.

Interesting to watch the escalating feud between #Trump and #Musk. Wouldn't it be especially sweet if #ElonMusk were to purchase Fox News, and maybe even Newsmax and turn them around to a moderate or even left-leaning stance.

And for probably some of the same reasons, they should have a busy summer which is hopefully constructive and faithful both to the Constitution and to the rule of law.
For some reason I don’t think the Supreme Court of the United States is going to be having a relaxing summer this year.

Just a note for those of you/us with overlapping climate and investing interests. #FirstSolar, FSLR, has multiple buy recommendations, target price estimates from $230-274 and a strong balance sheet. Because of current uncertainty, it seems a tremendous buy opportunity at under 130.

This just sounds wrong and misguided on its face. What were they thinking?
Top Dem on the House Intel Committee Jim Himes says in a statement that he understands that the White House “insisted” on the CIA transmitting the list in an unclassified email
New via NYT — The CIA sent the White House an unclassified email listing all employees hired by the spy agency over the last two years to comply with an executive order to shrink the federal work force. One former agency officer called the reporting of names a “counterintelligence disaster.”

People are getting up off the mat.
People have gathered outside USAID HQ for press event with Democratic Congressmen Beyer, Raskin, Connolly and Olzewski and Senator Van Hollen where they're addressing the building's mysterious shutdown today in the midst of the Trump admin dismantling the agency.

Serious problem. Actions have consequences.
This is a crisis response app. If a diplomat is in danger, for any reason, this sends their whereabouts to diplomatic security in country and DC
USAID employees overseas are no longer able to access their government security app, which gives them this error code (images provided to me by USAID worker)

What the hell just happened w/ tariffs? Trump put Mexico tariffs on hold after Sheinbaum promised to send 10K troops to crack down on fentanyl; FYI Mexican military has >400K members. Realistically, I think the bully backed down when his target wouldn’t roll over.

Let’s see what happens w/ Canada.

Last year, law enforcement intercepted about 19 kilograms of fentanyl at the US-Canada border. At the southern border, agents seized 9,600 kilograms.

The idea that Canada is a major source of drugs is a lie, and this admin is hoping you’re stupid enough to believe it.

An interesting approach, which I think has merit. Surely nothing DJT has done to date will have any positive impact on inflation, for instance, and that's a consequence he should be forced to "own".
