Like Hellen, who seemed rather intimating (and hot) as this menacing slasher. But she's just a gardener who got her face fucked up by the Visitor. Audrey too is unrecognizable and has to communicate through cans (creative), but she still makes the best out of it. She just doesn't want to be alone.

I got shaken to tears delivering her laundry as she recovered from having her more ravenous hydra heads killed. It's small moments like these that emphasize how special this game truly is.

These characters are surprisingly human. They feel like people the dev has met before. Their transformation into eldritch horrors also doesn't detract from their humanity. Some regular humans are more monsters than vice versa. Like Jeanne, who's just adorable despite her monstrous form.

I last reported being on day 3 and befriending Lyle. Right now I'm on day 10 and got a whole family in my apartment. Lyle, Papineau, Hellen, Audrey and a little rat baby. I suppose I got some punks in there too I almost kicked out. It's insane what a colorful cast of characters you can end up with.
