Happy to retire in ‘24 after 25yrs of teaching in a PreK-8 NYC public school. I don’t miss the early morning wake-ups but I do miss the many little & big scholars I was able to meet, teach & hopefully inspire. I’m also a cat & dog dad, twin & uncle.

The daily reminder to every White Supremacist, including 🤡, their world view has always been a lie. However, that evil philosophy has never been held to account. In fact the lie has been amplified not eliminated or else there’d be zero Confederate monuments at the very least. Accountability matters.

Allowing GOP to label their party as the “moral majority” practically criminal. It’s always been about protecting Whiteness. See location of Reagan’s State’s Right’s speech. Now we have “Reagan Democrats”. It’s never been about economic anxiety or the monuments celebrating Whiteness would be gone.
