Why, when there are many brilliant Liverpudlian actors looking for their big break, do they cast non-scousers in Scouse roles? Sure cast them, but don't make them attempt the accent, most can't do it (Freeman was good). Just say their character isn't from Liverpool, no problems. #thiscityisours

I'm impressed by how Accrington are approaching this game: no nastiness, no over-the-top challenges, no niggling or snide gamesmanship. It's all very gentlemanly. And they're giving a good go. #LIVACC

The guy who does Liverpool's social media is the real power player here. He's keeping everything on hold so he can post a picture on Christmas Eve of VVD, Salah and TAA all in Christmas hats signing their new contracts with the caption "Happy Christmas, Reds".
