1) I've been in continuous employment since I was 16

2) If setting boundaries outside of working hours means I can't have the job, then I don't want it

Teacher wellbeing is not booking us a yoga class & ordering us a pizza.

It's actively going out of our way to REDUCE workload.

Leaders and teachers themselves need to do this collectively.

Yeah, obviously, we love the kids. We love helping them.

But it is a job.

Why bother going above and beyond?

What's the reward?

The best teachers get the trickiest classes, more responsibility, more stress
