Perhaps a personal wish? With the amount of RPG collections as well as ActRaiser getting a remake some time ago, I wonder if a Quintet collection wouldn't hit the spot right about now. SoulBlazer, Illusion of Gaia, maybe even get Terranigma it's full world coverage at this point

Following up with what I think is a reasonable expectation? There's been a lot of talk about a Chrono Trigger remake of late, and I think it'd look gorgeous in the recently trending HD-2D style SquareEnix's been using for the past couple of years

One of the more hilarious tragedies of the MegaCD's launch titles. A game that reviewed/sold so poorly that copies were eventually marketed as 'CD cases that came with a free MegaCD game'. Which is kind of a shame because the intro slaps in the way music/animation only did in the late 80s/early 90s.

But if nothing else I also felt more appreciation for the twist of the ending, that ultimate victory would come from compassion from an outside source, from simply the good will of someone who factually never met the heroes nor fully aware of their sakes, but wishing them well none-the-less

Although not to be too edge-lord about it, some scenes are still just as unnerving as they were back in the day. Absolutely not the totality of the experience, but it's the rare time Nintendo actually got their druthers together and not be afraid to traumatize the player just a little bit.

Recently finished my most recent playthrough of Earthbound (after maybe 15 years?). It still holds up remarkably well, with enough QOL that's rare to see even in modern RPGs. That and it's theming is one of things I feel like you appreciate more as an adult when you've grown more worldly.

I would wonder what the upper limits on heads would be. What the body could provide in caloric requirements for growing new heads... would heads eventually grow in smaller and smaller to manage these limitations?
