It has been one year to this day that I lost my dearest pet and most trusted friend, Zinc. He was a rock to me throughout many troubling times, when people couldn't be. It's been a hard and lonely journey without you, old friend. Sleep well. 😥

My OC character Stacy's expressions reference sheet, that I commissioned from TeiraNova, for my upcoming projects. Stacy has a mixed parentage between a Ring-Tailed Mongoose and a Red Panda, thus her uniquely familiar, but slightly unusual look. She has a short temper for someone who is rather clever, but given her sordid history she often times finds herself on the wrong side of the law. That is when she isn't out partying or clubbing. Up until recently, she also had a pretty serious alcohol addiction. After being burned one too many times (and burning almost every bridge along the way), she's on her last chance of staying out of trouble. Oh, and did I mention she's also incredibly vindictive against anyone (or any perception) of a slight against her and will hold a grudge? It's best to either stay out of her way, or be prepared to put up with all of her antics.

A commissioned drawing from 2016 of a very, very old OC named Talon. A hybrid panther/iguana(?) character from the bygone era of 2002. He was drawn by TeiraNova. The backstory is a bit fuzzy, but I think I recall a little of the final version of the story. He was supposed to be a human soldier who ended up being experimented on in some bid to find a solution to fight some reawakened Egyptian god alongside some others on a team.. or something? Maybe I'll revisit the idea some day in the future.

Zack, not knowing the English name of a local food, mistakenly asks his part Honduran White Bat roommate Stephanie for more "Lil' Stephanies" to put in his Hot Chocolate. She's stunned into a flustered, embarrassed silence as his other roommate Stacy corrects him, then teases them both by asking for more 'Lil' Stephs' too. Meanwhile poor Brooke fails to stop herself from laughing out loud at the entire scene.

The page and word count of one of several works I'm currently writing. So far 487 pages, 254182 words long. What was intended to be a short summery to explain story elements for some visual commission work accidentally ballooned into a massive rewrite & expansion of an entire story!
