Strongly agree. Inept Democrats got us here. But it was not by clinging to democratic procedures when we acquiesced to a vainglorious Biden, accepting his decision that only he can beat Trump.

What is to be done? Do we need a new Senate Leader? (Schumer is grossly deficient.) If Senate Dems can't choose an effective leader, why should anyone believe they can lead the nation?

Had to return to this bc I can't get stop thinking how Hagseth, and no one on his staff, likely ever paused to consider that this might make him look completely foolish. Psychopathy and baby-brained as a combo is really quite spectacular.
