This was the year I got really into drawing clouds. There's a bunch of good ones in the upcoming pages so you'll have to wait for those (they are up on Patreon, tho, if you simply cannot wait for the clouds.) I also like this one lightning panel for silly esoteric reasons.

Oh cool! I didn't know he had a new book coming out-- I really enjoyed Owls of the Eastern Ice, too! Weird details from that book pop back into my mind all the time.

Yeah.. that happened to me for about a year. I remember trying to draw made me feel physically sick, like every muscle in my body was rebelling—I’d just be vibrating and fighting the urge to throw my tablet pen. I simply could not make myself do it. I don’t know what I’d call it other than burnout.
