When using a screwdriver, spin the shaft with your fingers instead of the handle to take up a bunch of thread quickly. Its smaller, thus spins faster and saves a few seconds.

Nine months late, but to answer that question: I worked for a Methane Cogeneration plant. We take expired food and such, feed it into a big mixer full of cow shit, and catch the methane, purify it, and then burn it in a generator to power the grid.
