Things are happening so fast. It feels like just yesterday we were talking about the possibility (imagine!!!) of armed agents roaming America's streets. Sometimes it feels to me like people are getting used to this nightmare. Pro tip: Don't.

Not only did they shoot someone through a door into a home with children, they later tear gassed a family of 6 in their minivan and then blamed the family "for bringing kids to a protest." There was no good reason for any of those hospitalizations. No both sides. No exaggerating.

“Remarkable projection of police power?” Really? @nytimes.com needs an overhaul. This is not a “projection of police power.” This is an abuse of power, and it’s illegal.

After that I had to talk to my teenager about what to do if they ever tried to get into their high school or take one of their friends (don't answer questions, run back inside, get an adult). Just surreal

I've repeatedly used the Roosevelt HS case because it's so unexplainable.

Like, imagine the MPD was chasing a suspect and the chase took them through a high school at dismissal...

And then somehow they ended up getting into multiple scrums with students and arresting two teachers? What???
