// 03. EXISTING PROJECTS
Including Me is still on hold for the time being.

Starworld! as a game is still cancelled; however, elements from it may appear in future projects.

Two other projects are in the planning stages; however, these are nowhere near ready to show.

NOTE: Project ZZZ is not AI-related. Nothing we make will ever focus on generative AI, nor involve it in any capacity that threatens the job security of a team member. Human hands make the most amazing work.

// 02. PROJECT ZZZ
Our first project as teamARYA is approaching a state where, not only do we feel comfortable announcing it, we'll actually have something to show for it. It won't be ready to go gold at that time, but we'll be inviting trusted community members to help with testing the project.

Changes to our branding will be made as soon as possible. Some elements are not finalized yet, and will be added at a later date.

// 01. REBRAND
TNM Dev Team is now teamARYA.

This change, aside from having our namesake not be that of a long-dead product (an experimental Discord server), is being made primarily because there's another software company out there that abbreviates to TNM. We'd like to be a more distinct entity.

As for what our first project is going to be, I'm not entirely sure as of now. Including Me is still on pause, due to it being an absolutely MASSIVE undertaking, but that game won't be cancelled until the whole damn studio shuts down.

- Provided we're able to find a sprite artist within Q1, I'm estimating we can finish the Area 1 Demo by Q4 at ABSOLUTE latest.

- From there, we may launch a crowdfunding campaign - the money raised from this will help to properly spin up the business side of things and accelerate development.

Steam Deck is the only logical answer, especially if you already have a powerful gaming rig at home

that's gonna be our strategy, yeah

personally I don't think so, not unless they're gigantic "betas" that are honestly just full games in and of themselves, a la Multiversus. Get a few friends to test your game to start, build a community and onboard more testers as development progresses, and release when it's ready :)

"this is dumb but i'm doing it anyway" is something every dev does at exactly 17 points in their lives, 5 random instances of which cause catastrophic damage

Obviously I'm new here and I don't know everything, maybe I'm wrong and studio independence is higher than I thought, but still. Fuck AI lmfao
