Our extra rainy summer = fast grass growth. Calgary crews are working extended shifts to catch up and manage long grass in parks & roadsides.

50%+ of park mowing is complete, with more equipment coming in 2026 to boost future capacity.

At this time the evacuation order previously in place for the Manchester Industrial area has been lifted. We will be working with our partners to collapse the closures o the impacted areas as soon as possible. All previous road closures and transit impacts are no longer in place.
