Sipping a 2016 Hunan dark tea. My brain fog is bad, so I accidentally let it steep longer, but the flavor is a mellow, grassy one.

Crawling out of the Influenza Zone™️. Starting the day with the remains of a nice daily drinker oolong (Iron Goddess of Mercy from TeaSource).
February 3, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Struck down with the flu. Big pot of Yorkshire Gold to cut through the fog.
January 31, 2025 at 6:22 PM
Ran out the door before I could brew a cup of tea. Nightmare scenario.
January 29, 2025 at 1:50 PM
Making my partner a big mug of herbal tea blended with lemonade. Trying to stave off their head cold.
January 27, 2025 at 4:21 PM
Stirred up a cup of black tea with a spoonful of marmalade. Little sunshine outside, so store bought will do.
January 27, 2025 at 2:18 PM
So it’s going to be a no news just music kind of day.
January 26, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Tetley with double sugar. You’ve seen what it’s like out there. Double sugar’s allowed.
January 23, 2025 at 2:12 PM
Lots of tea today. Started off with a 2016 Hunan dark tea, then on to my latest preferred Fujian black tea.
January 21, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Today, it’s Tetley.

Lots of black tea today, then on to oolong.

Woke up too early in the cold dark, and I need the caffeine to keep going.
January 15, 2025 at 9:47 PM
I should buy more tea.
January 15, 2025 at 3:44 AM
Sipping (frankly mediocre) Darjeeling. Better tea reserved for after the sun rises.
January 13, 2025 at 12:39 PM
The sun is shining. The air is crisp. Time for some tea.
January 12, 2025 at 4:45 PM
It’s snowing. I’d rather be under 3 quilts.

Started the day with a gallon of Yorkshire Gold.
January 10, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Continuing to dig through the tea horde. Trying an oolong that tastes like pine nuts.
January 7, 2025 at 3:46 PM
Snow on the ground means I need a strong cup of tea or three.

Starting the day with a frankly mediocre black tea, but it’s got plenty of caffeine, and I need to clear out my tea horde.

Skies are full of lightning as the winter storm pelts us with rain.

Drinking shou puer (Lumberslut by W2T).
January 5, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Slow, cold morning. Sipping a white tea.
January 5, 2025 at 3:10 PM
New tea delivery means more oolong in my cup (Iron Goddess of Mercy).
January 4, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Trying a new tea this morning. It’s a Hunan black tea (Voyager from TeaSource).

Smells like dark chocolate and is light and sweet. Slightly malty.
January 4, 2025 at 3:52 PM
Sipping lots of white2tea ANZAC, a sheng puer.

Notes of menthol and citrus.
January 3, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Fujian black tea this morning (Golden Buddha from TeaSource).

This tea has a lovely rose scent.
