This just made my day! Just re-watched SG-1 seasons 9 & 10...watched Ark of Truth last night. Hadn't really seen any Stargate in a few years, so that's quite the coincidence!

Hey Rick, so you mean things were better back when you were blocking LGBT stories, harassing young actresses, and firing Terry Farrell ?

Naw, it's OK. It was a sadly forgettable movie. I'm sad I couldn't forget it and the middle one faster.

I was barely hanging on through that stupid movie. The near line-for-line recreation of the TWOK scene followed by 'magic Khan blood' permanently killed those movies for me.

I won't say that the Kelvinverse films did nothing. But I'm not sad to see them go, either. There was a lot of really bad, sloppy writing in them that I just didn't enjoy. From promoting a cadet directly to captain, to interstellar-transporter-in-a-bag, to a pointless giant space snow-globe.

YES!!! My straight buddy of all people sent it to me this morning.

Nothing about that Starbase made any sense...

I look at it as storytelling as well. Neither TOS or SNW is necessarily the 'true' Enterprise, in the sense that an Eiffel Tower set isn't the real Eiffel Tower. But the shows have gotten better and better and representing it.

Not to mention the reimaged characters like Pike and Number One, originally from The Cage and now finally starring front and center!

My favourite moment was when it ended and I could go home. Wasn't a fan of the Kelvinverse trilogy to because with, but SNW and Lower Decks were such a step up I can't even watch Kelvinverse anymore.

I love the Ambassador-class...my profile pic is my own re-imaging. But man, I did NOT care for the interior sets. They were quick redresses of the courtroom set from "Measure of a Man", among other things. Give me something that's properly between TUC Excelsior and TNG.

I really, really, REALLY hope the rumours of all the destroyed bombers are true!
