the one good thing about the tailspin that media at large has been in is that there's been a huge wave of people who have abandoned trying to work at traditional corporations in favor of making their own crowd-funded stuff, similar to the 2000s era internet media boom before they all got ~acquired~

i've tried watching old videos when i remember something funny from them (e.g. Peggle 2's TAKE SHOT) and every time i just end up going "oh my god ryan shut the fuck up" and don't enjoy the video at all 💀
