It’s because CoD does it and EA is trying to copy CoD weapon blueprints. 2042 did the same thing and even BF5 did also to a degree

I don’t mind it since the maps currently don’t really have a lot of vehicles focused maps. So having something to help speed you along to get to an objective is nice.
