This is the response that I got about it.. To be fair, I always assumed that I was voting for the party that the candidate represented, so not sure where the take they have comes from.

It read : There are no plans to make changes to the current constitutional arrangements, whereby voters elect individual candidates, and not the political party they represent. It is an established constitutional principle that at UK General Elections, voters cast their vote for individual candidates, and not the political party they represent. When a Member of Parliament (MP) decides to change their party affiliation, it is for the MP to decide whether to continue to sit in the House of Commons (as a representative of their new political party or as an independent MP) or to stand down from their seat to trigger a by-election and, if they wish, seek re-election. There are no plans to make changes to the current arrangements. Cabinet Office

The three bridges over the head of the Conwy estuary. The single span bridge on the left was built in the 1950s, the middle one around the 1820s, and the steel tubular rail bridge was done in the 1850s.

A wide angle photograph of the three old bridges that go across the Conwy estuary in North Wales. The middle bridge is one of the first suspension bridges in the world and looks today like it did when last used for traffic in the 1950s. On one side of it there is a tubular steel tunnel rail bridge that was built in the 1850s, and still in use. On the other side is a bridge built in the 1950s. All three bridges connect with Conwy that has a substantial castle within it. The architecture of the older bridges reflect this and look like they have castle turrets on them. The image is in black and white, and the strong light is casting vivid shadows off the bridges onto the estuary water.

We've had a decent bit of snow in North Wales this last couple of days. This is looking up the Nant Francon towards the Glyder Mountains in Snowdownia.

We've gone to Alghero for a break to celebrate one of our birthdays, and I've been holed up all day in the boathouse that we've rented due a very bad cold. But, a thunderstorm passed over and it was rather dramatic.

Where he describes how for the large majority of the session Biden was articulate and able to recall years old events with acuity. The post is in response to the media spin where focus has been given to small sections where Biden was a little slow and got a couple of dates wrong. That spin being that Biden has some catastrophic cognitive decline. Jackson accurately makes the comparison with trump, who clearly is suffering with major cognitive decline. It is, as Jackson highlights, a smear campaign against Biden.
