Also my favorite song right now came out this decade. I do love me some throwbacks but I can’t listen to them 10 times in a row to figure out a verse and gain a new connection to the art

No doubt, but don’t you feel more culturally relevant if you understand and participate in the culture? I had two years where I stopped going to shows and doing new things in my early 20’s and I felt way older than I do today in my 30’s. Maybe we could inoculate these folks by keepin em engaged

Yeah but why not dig for more?? There’s so much amazing, life changing music out there. I’ve truly cried at some of the incredible music that’s been released this decade. Last year was a down year but I can still show you 100 incredible songs from dozens of genres
