Yeah I heard that and was like “Kershaw didn’t deserve shit.”

Make Kershaw stay in for the rest of this game and think about what he’s done. Make him camp out in the mound overnight. Lock the clubhouse doors and turn on the sprinklers. Kershaw lol.

Kershaw getting rocked lol

There’s one guy wearing a Marlins sweatshirt.

Yep. It’s someone tapping on a rail, it sounds like.

That tap tap tapping was driving me INSANE.

A lot of Yankees just striking out.

Uh oh! That’s a potentially costly error!

For the nerds: He deftly also brought in Blade Runner, set in the same universe, in a subtle but not ham-handed way. Olyphant? Give him Roy Batty blonde locks. People will get it. We did.

Solid show. Looking forward to the next season.

Alien: Earth was a very good show. It brought together in tone in one cohesive narrative all the Alien films (although predating most of them) in the same way Noah Hawley brought together the Coens in Fargo, except being canonical. He’s an excellent writer and show runner. Looking forward to more.

Friend, I *left* private practice because of the unalloyed bullshit money-chasing it is. I just wanted a nice, secure, quiet job where I could practice law 8 hours a day.

Boy howdy did I bet wrong on that. Most days.

Serious question: Would you want Harlan to review your novel? Unabashedly? I think I wouldn’t have the fortitude to take it.

Makes sense they were friends, or, more accurately, maybe, allies.

I wish I knew what they both thought of Goldman.

God, what I’d give to sit down with them for an hour over coffee.

Whatever imposter syndrome I ever had was absolutely eviscerated when the most unquestionably dumbest, most obsequious, and breathtakingly idiotic lawyer became my boss’s boss’s boss.

I could be fired for this post, you know.

I don’t care. She’s *so* stupid. I-I hate her *so* much I-it-it

I served under Alberto Gonzalez for, like, two months and I thought that was absolutely the *dumbest* possible person to be Attorney General, ever. *Never* possible to reach such depths.

And she just comes in and slides under that bar like it’s the first go-round in limbo on a Carnival Cruise.

I know another author who would have been able to talk about Hollywood doing people dirty.

Wink fucking wink.

“Call me Ishmael, a lot of time in New England, then on a boat, he meets an undocumented immigrant, sailing stuff, coin nailed to a wood pole for some reason, more stuff, guy with a wooden leg is grumpy, look a whale, grumpy guy gets stuck to whale, boat sinks, Ishmael lives. Buy my crypto coin!”

Bloch adamantly denied that Gein was the inspiration for Bates in Psycho, which, like, of course. Different in many ways. Bloch got basically typecast after that, and I wince at what role his semi-fictional character has in this. Bloch got a raw deal in a lot of ways for much of his career.
