Right this moment the pain coming back on strong. The pain gets worse at night. I'm trying to avoid taking the Percocet because of its spiraling effect where the pain seems stronger until I take it again.

Did your pinched nerve resolve on its own? I just got back from the pharmacy with a stronger pain med. I'll use it tonight so I can get some sleep.

Pain is rough. Wasn't really expecting this level of pain. Goes from a 3 up to a 7 or 8. That's too much pain.

Then POOF! I woke up 3 seconds later, very groggy, and I was like wait am I done?

There were like 6 people in the room. I saw a metal thing hanging from the ceiling and asked what that was. The surgeon said that's what we'll use to help prop your arm vertically to do the surgery. I said huh.

Still super weird how it went down. I was rolled in the gurney to the OR. I already had my IV and had been given the Versed and nerve block. I scooched myself over to OR table.

The kidney stones were definitely easier. I thought with the Percocets for the shoulder would dull the pain. Uh no! You gotta put your game face on!

I've added ibuprofen in between Percocets, and am taking the largest dosage they prescribed. Icing constantly.
But I called in and told them about my pain and they upped my dosage starting tomorrow.
