teams will miss things in their testing every event, which is why the meta never fully converges on one deck, but they're operating on the limited information they have available to them and picking varied (perceived) mid decks is less likely to succeed than a smaller sample of above average decks

imo the way to optimize at least 1 player's success is if everyone plays what they view to be the best deck, which is likely to converge on 1-3 options bc these teams test together to collect data on the major contenders and purposefully diversifying beyond that is choosing to disregard testing data

Isn't this kind of most movies with a "villain" though? They try to have us empathize with the antagonist who is well-meaning but misled so it doesn't turn into a good vs evil disney cornfest

Most winning black archetype + works with draw 2 synergies + signpost is the 3rd highest WR below rare + grabbing duals is a sign the archetype is open -> may have more signposts in deck? it will go down though, def sample size
