The Great Flood is a film that happens when a filmmaker can't decide whether they want to make a good disaster movie or a good sci-fi movie. The result is one of the most poorly executed movies I've ever watched and it makes me feel I wasted almost two hours of my time. (Photo credit: filmibeat.com)

It's hard to believe it's already been 11 years since one of the most magical moments in television/streaming history happened. I will always celebrate Korra and Asami officially becoming a couple in the Legend of Korra finale! (Photo credit: Nickelodeon) #Korrasami #TheLegendOfKorra #Avatar

A lot of film franchises start to lose steam from the third installment on, but that's not the case for the Now You See Me series, because Now You See Me: Now You Don't feels just as fresh and exciting as the previous two movies. Sure, it has flaws, but this was exhilarating! (Photo credit: IMDb)

Good morning, Bluesky! Yesterday I played Batman Returns for the SNES on my YT channel (link in description) for my final Retro Wednesday episode of 2025 since we're close to Christmas. I figured if people can call Die Hard a Christmas movie (which it isn't), then they can call this one as well!

The Man Who Invented Christmas is a delightful film that chronicles the events that helped inspire Charles Dickens to write his immortal Christmas classic "A Christmas Carol". Dan Stevens delivers an incredible performance as Dickens in a film that's pure magic! (Photo credit: Amazon Prime Video)

Final Fantasy XIII was released in Japan 16 years ago today! Lightning, the game's primary protagonist, is one of my favorite characters from the series and one of the most awesome video game characters in video game history in my opinion! #FinalFantasyXIII #Lightning #FinalFantasy #SquareEnix

Loaded is a game for the PlayStation 1 that I've been wanting to play on my YouTube channel, but I've been very hesitant due to the graphic nature of the game and YT being weirdly inconsistent with such content being shown on their platform. I mention this game because it turns 30 years old today!

Unpopular opinion: The 2005 King Kong movie isn't as good as either the 1933 or 1976 version. I just found the movie to be very uninteresting throughout large portions of it, despite the decent visual effects. The '33 and '76 films feel much more polished. (Photo credit: IMDb)

Today marks 34 years since one of my favorite TMNT games was released in Japan: The Manhattan Project. I have fond memories of this game along with the first TMNT NES game, and I did a playthrough of this not too long ago on my YouTube channel! #TMNT #NES #Nintendo #TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles

The Mean One isn't your typical cartoon-turned-horror film. Sure, this movie isn't great, but the makeup and special effects are actually pretty decent despite the film having a modest budget. To be honest, I prefer David Howard Thornton as the Grinch over Art the Clown any day! (Photo credit: IMDb)

Happy Friday, Bluesky! I meant to post this a few days ago but I finally got my tree up. I've been slacking this year and I normally have my Christmas tree up no later than the day after Thanksgiving lol. I hope you all have a fantastic day and an even better weekend! 😃

How on Earth is it that the new Street Fighter looks much, much worse than the original? Say what you will about the JCVD version, it was at least entertaining bad. The new movie, based on the trailer, looks like a really bad Party City commercial with martial arts thrown into it. #StreetFighter

Christmas Break-In is basically a lower-quality Home Alone, except it takes place in a school and the parents make the McAllisters look like Parents of the Year. The acting for the most part is horrific, but Cameron Seely is wonderful as the lead character Izzy. (Photo credit: Rotten Tomatoes)

Ninja Gaiden was released in Japan 37 years ago today, and started one of the most difficult series in video game history. I've played all three games in the NES trilogy, and these games are a blast to play despite the harsh difficulty; I especially enjoy the first two! #NinjaGaiden #NES #Tecmo

If you're looking for a movie where it's nearly impossible to sympathize with the main character and there's absolutely zero chemistry between the two main actors, A Sprinkle of Christmas is the movie for you! I'm convinced Hayley Sales can't express emotion to save her life. (Photo credit: IMDb)

Hello, Bluesky! I hope you all have a fantastic week! I thought I'd share a few pics of my nativity scene and my Christmas village that I have set up in my living room! 😃

A Sudden Case of Christmas tries hard to be an instant holiday classic filled with heartwarming, intertwining storylines, but all this film ends up being is one sloppy and incoherent mess. (Photo credit: JoBlo)

Happy Sunday, Bluesky! This is a rather satisfying sub count to wake up to this morning. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I reach 900 before the end of the year! 😃

Same Time, Next Christmas is actually a decent rom-com, despite Lea Michele's best attempts at ruining it. Phil Morris is the one that steals the show as the lovable father of the man looking to rekindle the flame with a girl he met at a Hawaiian resort years prior. (Photo credit: ABC.com)

Joe & Mac (also known as Caveman Ninja), one of my favorite SNES games, was released in Japan 34 years ago today. Also, 500th post hype!! 😃 #Joe&Mac #CavemanNinja #SuperNintendo

Champagne Problems isn't exactly a Christmas movie, but it is a surprisingly delightful film to watch. Minka Kelly turns in a wonderful performance as a businesswoman who falls in love with a man who happens to be the heir of a French winery. Sappy? Maybe. Entertaining? YES! (Photo credit: Netflix)

Happy Saturday, Bluesky! Today I will be uploading my 100th episode of my Tears of the Kingdom playthrough on my YouTube channel at 3pm EST, where I will be attempting to find all the Dragon Tears. Hope to see you there! :) #TheLegendOfZelda #TearsOfTheKingdom #Rauru #Sonia #Link #Zelda #Nintendo

A Christmas Story Christmas was never going to live up to the legacy of its predecessor, but having said that this is a wonderful film in its own right. Peter Billingsley is once again delightful as Ralph Parker, and the film has its share of funny and heartwarming moments! (Photo credit: IMDb)

Good morning, Bluesky! Yesterday I played the first Streets of Rage game on my YouTube channel. This is a series I've grown an appreciation for not just for its gameplay but for its awesome soundtrack! I will be definitely playing more of this game and this series! #StreetsOfRage #SegaGenesis

Word of advice: if you're watching a movie and you see the Lawrence brothers in the credits, please for the love of everything holy and your sanity DO NOT WATCH IT! Their inability to get over themselves ruin every single scene they are in. (Photo credit: Media Play News)
