Just some other scale related comparisons that I thought were interesting. The wings and twin buster rifle are way bigger on the RG than the HG. I’m assuming that the hg is closer to the “correct” scale since the RG body is already bigger, but it also looks cool so I don’t think it matters lol

More comparisons. The HGAC is still a solid kit, I like it a lot! Next to the RG it’s lacking detail and it’s a bit smaller since the RG isn’t in scale but it looks good!

The RG EW kit is also absolutely gorgeous. It’s an early RG but I haven’t had issues with mine I just don’t touch it lol #gunpla

I think visually the Gremory is my favorite of the IBO designs, up there with Marchosias and Vidar. I built mine late last year and it’s the second one I threw a metal frame into when I got my hands on one this year! Just extremely cool looking!

Some more detail shots of the feet and legs. The transformation isn’t really hard, but you do need to make sure you do it correctly and get the back panel as far out as possible otherwise you won’t get the foot into the right place and the backing won’t click into it

Can you have enough variants of the HGUC Ground Gundam/GM frame? The answer is no. So I have all of them and quite honestly I wish there were more.

The ankles on the Sniper are really weak for some reason though so it has to stay on a stand even though it’s the exact same parts

Here’s some detail shots of the kit. I don’t think I mentioned it before, but the silver part that’s under the chest eye and sensors I painted chrome and the yellow vents that are hidden under those flip down openings are painted chrome gold so they all pop more

I think I could just stare at this kit all day. I don’t have much more to say about this it other than I loved building it and it’s gorgeous and if you like building small kits with lots of detail and don’t mind small parts you’ll probably enjoy this

Can’t forget the Neo-bird mode either. It actually does the transformation really well, there’s no parts forming or anything and the body feels decently solid. There’s a lot of articulation in the wing panels so they do move out of position really easily though #gundam #gunpla

It almost has the articulation to grab the beam saber from its own shoulder which is impressive. And there’s still no drooping in the shoulders for the spinning twin buster rifle pose either. #gunpla #gundam

The wrists have 2 positions, one that’s pushed all the way back so the peg locks in and if you pull it forward you can angle the wrists like normal. The joints are really solid so far, no issues at all holding any poses though I’m not sure how long the shoulder can support the rifle #gundam #gunpla

It’s getting late and I’m pretty tired so I’ll do the posing tomorrow, but the RG Wing Zero is finished!

I’m not really sure I can say anything about this kit that I didn’t say in my build thread (all very good!) but I’m blown away by what they can get in this tiny frame #gundam #gunpla #plamo

I thought the rest of the kit was already amazing but damn these thruster pod wings have an insane amount of articulation in them! The wings expand out on a 4 part arm so they can extend way out and pivot! And the expanding thruster is also awesome! #gundam #gunpla

Body is done now and I’ll move onto the wings next! The wrists are very tight and the weapon holding ones have these little pegs on the back of them so I can’t imagine this kit has any issue holding the Twin Buster Rifle #gundam #gunpla

I didn’t use the standard Ground Gundam/GM beam sabers because they’re really short. Makes sense when they’re stored in the legs, but I have a backpack with storage so I used full size ones instead.

The articulation of this kit is also amazing, it does basically whatever you want it to! #gunpla

Did I buy a 30MM weapons set because the rifle that came in it kinda vaguely looked like a Clone Trooper’s DC-15a? Impossible to know! But I wanted this to have something unique for a weapon and I think this works well. I think the beam sabers are extra from the White Rider #gundam #gunpla

Look who is together! The RX-79 is one of my favorite designs, I’ve updated it a bit here and made it more monochromatic than I originally intended but I think it looks great! Other than paint the only difference here is the backpack which I think is from a Pale Rider DII? #gunpla #plamo #gundam

I forgot to share the legs on their own earlier but the transformation gimmick is extremely impressive especially at this size.

The cockpit hatch was pretty loose and opened on its own when I tilted the kit so I added a tiny amount of nail polish on one peg and now it’s nice and tight. #gunpla

This kit is genuinely gorgeous. Some of the ways that parts fit together is really creative too, like the round beige part on the front skirts actually being a peg for the ball joint. I don’t think I’ve seen that before and it’s very neat #gundam #gunpla #plamo #gundamwing

Got the last of the parts for the Ground type Gundam painted this morning, so tonight it’s going to be back onto the Wing Zero. I do wish the weather was more forgiving for painting year round here so I could do more of this, but it is what it is #gundam #gunpla #plamo

In comparison to the RG Wing Zero from this morning, it feels like I could build it in my sleep in comparison.

I absolutely love the ground Gundam design and the HG kit. I glued the upper waist/ab section to the lower part because otherwise nothing else holds it there #gunpla #gunpla

My other PBandai order came in just before I had to leave for work so all the work I did cleaning out my backlog the last month or so has just been undone lol. I did think the G3 was coming next month but it’s nice to have it.
